Work Done

CAE provided scaffold so that construction crews could replace stucco and provide Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) on the building.

The original building was Allen Bradley controllers but was bought by Rockwell Automation many years ago. It still has the famous Milwaukee 4 face clock tower, still fully functional.
This is a multi-year project for the General contractor.
Fox Valley C0.- located in Batavia, IL
They are an exterior building envelope contractor, who does new /refurbishment of stucco, EFIS systems, stone, masonry, and cladding of buildings.
This is a multi-year contract in the 3rd phase of a 6 yr program to renovate the exterior of this complex, which some parts date back to the late 1800s (the building we are working currently).
The corner of this building has an integral concrete extension canopy at the corner which is a covering for a bus stop sitting area, inset in the exterior wall. We shored underneath the extension canopy and made a walkthrough sidewalk canopy for pedestrian traffic to move through. We placed a good stiff base to build the system scaffolding above the extension
On top of this was 10 stories of system scaffolding making a 50′ radius corner, for Fox Valley Co to refurbish the existing EFIS/masonry.
Under the sidewalk also is a 180′ vault that was completely shored so the weight of all scaffolding and shoring components above grade was supported properly.
The finishing touch was a custom scrim reusable netting we have specially made for us, which gives workers privacy on the scaffold system when working as well as keeps debris from falling onto the street to blow around below.
